Loki's mouth opened in order to answer. No, no, it had not been the outcome he had imagined nor the one he had hoped for. But then their surrounding changed and even more importantly, their host paid them a visit. The power he radiated was sickening. Disturbing. Frightening.
"This neither. I think it is time for a structured retreat," he said in a quiet voice to Rhysand. "Or unstructured really." He didn't have many preferences. Mostly just the option that brought them away from this creature. Mostly, that was Loki's preference in a fight: survive and regroup later.
"Ah, well," he added this time in a loud voice, this time directed at Higgs. "We thank you for your hospitality and do hope you do not mind the slight redecoration. It's less cluttered this way. You're welcome. It was a pleasure. See you!" Oh, he was ready to leave.
