Re: Abra, Dan, Higgs
Higgs smirked as Abra growled and displayed her power. "Afraid?" he laughed, a single chuckle. "I know I don't. In fact the only thing tethering me to some semblance of human morals are the folk stranded to me."
"You need to try a little empathy, Abra. Winning and losing isn't always about who is alive and who is dead at the end. There is no outcome to this exchange and all of them that come after where I don't win." he holds up his finger and thumb, increasing and decreasing the gap in between the two. "It's all about scale."
He stands upright, brushing down the front of his trousers and placing his hands on his hips. "But, yes. To answer your final question and skip over the very real threats about my destruction, they are still alive and well. I always said, it's just darn wasteful to destroy everything here. Well..." Higgs motioned over his shoulder with a quick snap of his head. "Out there."
He holds a single finger up, wagging it as he begins to pace. "My turn for a question, I think. You'll have to do me the liberty of me going through the motions of deduction. Southern Habit."
"You are beacon of angry fire. I can sense just how mad you are, and I know that you burn bright and you could more than likely kill or do some ugly things to me with that smart little shiny mind of yours. I know you have the capacity to kill, just that you are held back by Dan and his want to keep you safe from the ugly side of life, but here you are." he motions air quotes with his hands, sounding not-entirely convinced. "Alone."
"You're stalling. Keeping yourself muzzled like a dog. So, I'll do you the courtesy of askin'... What's the reason?"
