Revenge of the Dads
Loki had done one last sweep of the park, had given one last instructions to his daughter's animals before he returned to the rest of the small group. Abra and Dan had already forged the mind bridge to Higgs and Rhysand was standing there, looking... well, the god was convinced that he was just trying to show off. Wings? Really? It took some self-restraint not to say anything.
"Shall we? I would suggest, you go first and I follow. He is already aware of my hostility, I should slip in as quietly as I can," he suggested. The truth was, he was not sure if he could create the link without the mind or space gem. Not that he was ready to admit any of that. With that he shed his body, his shape becoming incorporeal. He needed the presence of his ghost self to launch an attack on Higgs' soul rather than his mind. Just after they had met, Loki would have loathed to admit it but the fae was a capable mage. His skills were impressive but that was nothing he would ever say out loud. Together they could launch attacks in two different areas.
