"You're welcome." She pulled one of her legs up into her lap, to make herself more comfortable. This wasn't something she had planned, there was no way she would have known he was going to pass under her window. But sometimes it was nice to be spontaneous.
"He probably still has the elastin in his skin. Whatever Higgs did didn't draw that out?" It was only a theory and she was a scientist.
Sophia grinned at him. "It's alright. I don't mind hearing you talk. But I've been pretty good. I'm seeing kids that I haven't really seen outside clinical reasons. It's hard to believe some are so big already, some you can hold complete conversations with them, like they're mini adults."
