Higgs spared a glance at the hull, and laughed at the image of a hole that danced through Kytana's mind. He took another few steps before he kneeled down and sat, crossing his legs and resting his head onto one of his hands which he balled into a fist just under his chin.
"I once had plenty 'pure' in my life and that got taken from me. To be honest what my Patron wants to do isn't my problem after I've done my part of the deal. His motivations and mine only align because I know He's the one thing that can set me free of what I'm going through." he grins, speaking from his relaxed position he sounds quite smug. "It's not naïve to think I'll get what He promised because it won't cost him anything."
Higgs watched Kytana closely. There was no fear, no doubt in this woman. It was a strange change of mentality.
