Chaos wasn't sure which one he was scared of more. Higgs smiling or looking angry. Either way, he didn't like it. He wasn't sure what Higgs was up to. Chaos Tech was the overly trusting sort. It had got him in trouble before. Made him the butt of the joke on more than a few occasions, which he hated. So long as people were laughing, even at him, he could get away with things. People had a way of underestimating him.
"Um sure..." he said, putting his cyberdeck on the floor beside him. "What do you want me to bring to them?" he asked, trying to smile a little more. It showed he still had that little ember of hope alight within him. He hoped it wasn't anything bad... Nothing destructive. It it was, Chaos knew he was going to refuse and he also knew by doing that he'd be in trouble.
