She had a point. And it was a good one... Maybe that was what Higgs was doing? John needed better mental defences. He needed to work on that but he wasn't sure how. Sure, he knew meditation techniques. They were the things he used to stop himself feeling as much pain, but his mental powers. Anything tied to his mind in that way, well that needed work. He knew he was just going to have to put his ego to the side and ask for help. Even if it did annoy him. Pride aside, he asked, "Right, fair enough luv, but I need to as you something first. Can you teach me? About how to keep people like Higgs out my my head?"
