It was becoming increasingly apparent how out of place they were, both here and on the island in general, even her with her world of vampires and werewolves, because that stuff had never actually changed her. She was just a pretty ordinary woman, like she was now. God what the fuck were they doing?
She sort of wanted to hit him when he smirked at her. Sometimes you just couldn't make jokes, there were some things that just were funny and this was certainly one of them, only then he was being serious, and actually acknowledging that this was a really bad situation. "Sounds like a pretty good plan," she agreed just as quietly, almost asking him why they were here. Only she knew of course, because neither of them could just ignore this, even though neither of them especially liked anyone that'd been taken, it was the principle. She knew exactly that he'd been going to say of course, and was fairly impressed he'd managed to catch himself. She stood up a little straighter, pulling herself together. She just needed to find her anger, needed to remember the feeling of being surrounded by people in protests and the fucking pigs. That was better. That was where her mind needed to be. "Just make sure you don't," she said, kissing him hard just for a second. "You can't leave me alone with these twats."
