Keeping his eyes on the man, he nodded slightly when Higgs seemed to approve of his hooch. This wasn't the best stuff he had, but it wasn't swill, either. Perhaps after he helped him, the best stuff would be brought out.
Erandur took a sip from his glass as he listened to Higgs. A man trying to help his people, being seen as a villain. He'd seen events like this before. Asking for help is weakness? Hardly, as far as he was concerned it was a strength. Two are usually better than one, so on and so forth.
His eyebrow stayed risen as Higgs was honest with him. Well, as far as he knew he was being honest. He only had this one side of the story, but it was enough to pull at his heartstrings. There was a lot to go about, perhaps these were miscommunications. He didn't know any of these three from Tuesday, only what Bryn had told him of the other two. Taking a deep breathing before finishing his glass and pouring himself another, Erandur nodded.
"I appreciate your honesty, Higgs. If I help you find this Heart, will any harm come to the people of this station? I have... Family here." Erandur paused for a moment, it was odd to say, odd to know that he had a son, daughter-in-law, and grandson here. Even if he did not know all the details. "I would tear down heaven itself to make sure they are safe." In that last sentence his accent lost its western twang, reverting back to his former Nordic.
