Higgs savoured the moment over the whiskey. He looked at the glass, swirling the liquid and admiring it's thickness, taking a short sniff to acclimatise himself before breathing a deep breath to admire all of it's aroma. Only then did he take a small sip of the liquid to coat his mouth and taste it.
Appearing pleased he continued; "It is important. I just need to find it. I think the others are worried that I am some kind of villain here to hurt them and their station. It is quite the opposite. I am simply from a place where you have to survive. Pleading for help is a sign of weakness, to be exploited."
He sighs sadly. "I will be honest with you, the two I have asked reacted badly to me. Loki, the first, tried to scan my mind without my permission so I confronted him. I did no violence to him and simply left. John Constantine, the second I asked for assistance and he attacked me with fire. My plight may be just, but it seems as though the caring only extends so far..."
