Her concern grew at the mention of one of her gods. She knew that there was always a risk when one involved the trickster god. She also knew that Dan did not like him much. It was nothing she could fault. Gods were not there to be liked.
But she stayed quiet on the matter. Whatever made Dan seek council, was beyond her. The Viking warrior knew that there were things in his life she would never truly grasp. She had experienced parts, had gained glimpses but they weren't much.
"Of course," she said and placed the knife back onto the counter. She didn't know what else to say as she said down and placed her hand onto his thigh in a comforting gesture. Her mind was filled with questions and worry.
