Loki could feel the effect taking place before it started. He placed himself into a bubble of time. The world around him was slowed. It let him fulfil tasks that should take hours in minutes, more importantly it led him chain magic and shape spells in a much more complicated manner. But, right now, it meant that his mind had just a bit more time to register what was happening. He knew the feeling of that man. Loki had been in the middle of investigating him.
A shudder ran down his spine. He had not felt something like this since... well, since the day he died. Dread manifested itself with every syllable Higgs' uttered. Maybe he should have learned from his tests on the man's mind and effects he produced on the timeline of the station that Higgs was able to overcome the magic of the infinity stones. But fear did what it so often did for him. It made him attack. Within a split of a second he had woven time and space energies together to create prison to lock the other man in place. Then Loki finally looked at him.
