Brynhild Ingouf ([info]brynhild_ingouf) wrote in [info]spinningcompass,
To her it was more him telling about some instability in the equipment, than it was on Edward being reckless. After all, they were climbers. How could she deny their need to get as high up as they could? Her eyes cut to the pull up stand in question, running over it to find ways to make it more stable. She couldn't do it right then because she had nothing more than her towel. But the way her mind worked, she'd already come up with a solution. So neither one of them would get hurt.

His question, though, drew her attention back to him with a snap. "My love, you don't have to prove anything to me, as far as how strong you are, you're strong enough to lift me," Not that she was heavy, "And that is enough for me. I simply like watching the way you move. And I will not lie, I like the idea of protecting you from being hurt, as you would me." She turned the dial, that was in arm's reach of her seat, to 100 pounds. That seemed a good start.

Then some delightfully filthy thoughts filled her mind and instead of shifting her feet into place, Bryn just leaned forward and put her arms along the top of the plate. "Instead of messing with one of these machines, you could lift me?"
