"So do I." He said, perhaps a little warmer than he intended. Jacob was always quick to say that he loved someone, mostly because those feelings always happened quick and he saw very little reason to hide it. He was also quick with a compliment when he liked someone or something, and a cutting word when he didn't. Deeper feelings though, ones that required more than those three little words, that was harder. That was usually when the jokes or flirtation came out. Not that he didn't feel things, he was a deeply passionate man in all things after all, but putting that into the right words always left him feeling lacking. Perhaps he should have taken his twin's suggestion of paying attention when they were studying poetry, but he was fairly certain Bryn understood his feelings by how supportive and affectionate he tried to be.
Jacob brought his free hand and arm low around her hip and pulled her in close for the briefest of kisses. He'd been close to her for long enough to know what biting her lip meant and while he would have been happy to indulge her and whatever her wonderfully filthy mind was coming up with he didn't want to completely interrupt her exercises. More than anything that kiss was a promise that he and Edward would tend to her for the rest of the evening if she found herself sore and in need of tender care.
"Go on then," he said after they parted, giving her a last squeeze before letting her go. "I'll be here to keep an eye on you if you need it. Though if you just want to show off I am perfectly happy to lend you all of my attention and adoration."
