It wasn't truly that unusual given how things had been in the world they left, still she hadn't been prepared even if she could at least see that this was not the sort of thing one could prepare for. Perhaps she ought to prepare herself for informing him as to what had happened since he had fallen but for the moment she just wanted to appreciate that he was alive again. It eased so much of her heartbreak to see him alive and reunited with Sif even if there was something quiet in the back of her mind that said something was off.
