Henry/Open
Henry stood away from everyone else. Away from his mother. Away from his Aunts. Rather than drink from a glass, from the drinks offered on either table he drank from a silver flask. Being around while the future changed, or knowing another branch would be forking off from this one was weird.
And it was sad. It was hard watching his Mother be sad, the only man he'd ever known as a father too. All because the people he'd known as family, blood or not, were gone. He couldn't tell them that they were still there.. somewhere. Happy and healthy. Because what would that do?
Part of him couldn't wait till it was his turn to go home. He glanced down to his little 'older' sister that clung to his calf. She'd gone back a week ago. Leaving him here to witness alone. "You know, if you weren't so short, I'd give you a wedgie." He teased. Earning a brief smile from the sad little girl.
