That was a very good reminder. He hadn't taken the time to check himself over yet and so while she poured he patted down his own pockets. Everything seemed to be in order, the receipts and scraps of paper were still there, as was a single pen. He eventually found his wallet and his phone, the latter of which he pulled out to inspect. It seemed the same though he could tell it wasn't operating on his provider network. At least that was one bill he would never have to worry about again.
He scrolled through what looked new and once there was a drink in front of him he smiled up at her and put it away once more, "Thank you," he gave her a nod and saluted her with his drink before he had a sip. The burn was nice, it woke him up a little, told him he wasn't dreaming.
