Ever since he arrived on the station, Artorias had taken to enjoying the simple things. Like sleeping. Back in his home world, sleep was a luxury, especially once he had taken up his task of finding and rescuing the Princess Dusk from the abyss. Sleep was something that was hard to come by. So it was almost strange when Artorias woke to an eerily familiar feeling. That same one he had in his home, finding refuge from the darkness. He opened his eyes and looked around, confused. Where was he? It seemed so familiar and yet not at all.
The Knight, dressed in loose fitting cream coloured clothing, sat upright and looked around the room. His senses became more and more aware of his surroundings. Hands found the feeling of worn and almost warm stone. All around him, ashes. So much ash... He looked around, taking everything in. He was certain he had fallen asleep in his room in Little Asgard, so why wasn't he there?
He was in a small hallway. Behind him was a blacksmiths station, complete with a well used and cared for anvil and tools. Down the opposite end of the corridor, a large, circular, open room sat. In the middle, sat a singular bonfire with a coiled sword as its centrepiece. And all around that, ashes. Thick layers of ash. Thousands of years of nothing but ash... The ceiling was high, with two sets of stairs running around the outside of the circle and up to a second level. Down below, branching corridors reached off and into other rooms which were connected, creating an outer circle. There was no one else present. Well, all except one person.
Artorias looked over to see a familiar sight. Was that Bryn? He stood up and walked over towards her, reaching to give her a shake.
