Katherine nodded at Annie's words. She could understand. She often thought in similar ways. Sometimes you had to quench your thoughts by seeking out a new purpose. She could understand that well. But she did not get around to more than a nod as the conversation shifted and she watched as two people danced the dance of polite chitchat.
"It is a realm. Let me show it to you..." Calmly, her father had passed them and had taken a seat next to them. Then he flicked his fingers and a moment later the world around them changed. A green shimmer passed over them and the visuals around them changed. Asgard unfolded around them as it might be viewed from the highest tip of the palace. The only thing that remained was their small seating area. It was deep routed illusion, it manipulated the environment on more than just the normal visual and auditory range.
Katherine glanced around. There was a sadness seeing the beauty of her father's kingdom. She did not know how long it would be until she could see it again.
