"It's not as much an offer for you to specifically. I tend to prefer to keep busy. Idle minds wander in dark places." she says the adage with conviction. Annie believed it wholeheartedly. Her idle mind had lead to the initiation of a planetary scale war with an Empire, so that she could feel busy again. It had cost her friends dearly. She takes the drink from Loki, dipping a finger into the glass 'by accident'. Her dermal sensors scanned the liquid for anything toxic or unexpected beyond the grain alcohol.
"Thank you, Loki, Prince of Asgard." she said with a wry smile. "For both allowing me to be in your home and for the refreshment. I will endeavour to return the favour when I am more settled."
"Asgard is your home world, or city?" she asks him, taking care to measure her tone and keep it friendly.
