"I am not a usual person." she grinned, before she took another shot from her glass.
"The Worlds of Progress." she says, ruminating on the prospect of telling someone completely outside of those worlds and how foreign they might appear. Even here, the morality of these individuals did not align to anything Annie had met in her long lifetime. She wondered if Kat would judge her evil?
"They are a series of planets, some... 30 or 40 planets. They all, in some way, interact with the company I am part of called SLA Industries in that;" She lists on her fingers, "They are owned, protected and exploited by SLA, In alliance with, but given autonomy by SLA, Part occupied by SLA in a state of war with a Soft Company or Subversive Faction, Stripped of everything useful and abandoned by SLA."
She looks a little crestfallen after describing all of this, but shakes her head and continues. "My little division of SLA, however, focuses on education, magical talent, technology and terraforming. Our main world is a place called STATIC and it's beautiful, almost rivalling what you have here. The main hub of SLA, however, is a sprawling city planet called Mort. It's... more like the less green areas of the station, it always rains and it is basically a city built on top of many sub cities. There are some... 900 or more levels to Mort and the majority of them even SLA has forgotten."
She takes another draught of her vodka. "I want to try and make it better for everyone, but it's hard. Especially when I have to pretend to follow the rules."
