Annie followed, taking her glass and an appreciative sip of the spirit, letting the flavour wash over her sensors and switching off her narcotic inhibitor chip so she could experience some of the buzz of a stiff alcohol.
She sat next to Katherine, leaving a comfortable proximity between them so as not to invade her personal space. She tucked her legs under herself and reclined slightly.
Annie frowned at Katherine's explanation briefly, before her face reflected a little sadness. She had not considered that people might have been here for so long that they had had children, let alone those that had grown older.
"I see, so people have been here for quite some time? Unable to leave? Did you beat the mage?"
