He'd sent Edward ahead as he started getting rid of his layers, promising to join them once he was ready and dressed similarly to the other assassin. Even without his greatcoat, he had quite a few layers to get through, and there was putting his weapons away. He may have been safe on the station but carrying so many was a habit at this point, the bracer stayed though, in general, he tried to keep that with him at all times. Then there was the book Bryn had left him, he'd had to grab that on his way out the door, but once he had he wasn't so far behind Kenway as to be considered late.
