"Tell me what you'd like from me when you're sober and I'll consider it." Jacob called after him, feeling far too warm now for his own good, especially when it hit him what he'd said. He honestly blamed Edward, he would have left it as harmless flirtation, as Edward needing a warm body to help him through how he was feeling, but then he'd looked so let down when Jacob tried to do the sensible thing and not take advantage of his drunken state. He liked being wanted, it did more for him than the prettiest of faces, and perhaps that was a flaw he should have taken the time to see to given how it had nearly ruined him in the past, but he couldn't get past the thought of Edward wanting him.
It was going to stay with him until he had confirmation of Edward's feelings one way or another. In the meantime, he was going to have a drink and try to cool himself down.
