Edward stopped after the door had closed behind him. He couldn't help it. He was too drunk and he didn't have anything niggling in the back of his mind to stop him. Not that it did anything previously, he was always a touch impulsive. The Welshman turned and opened the door, leaning against the doorframe.
"What do you mean I would not wish to sleep with you?" he asked. "Or did I mis-hear you?" he asked, making sure. "I am sure I heard you perfectly clearly" he said, doing his best not to slur his words too much. All of his efforts went into trying to speak clearly when perhaps that effort should have gone into what he was trying to say.
"Don't make assumptions on my behalf. I already made my intentions quite clear" he said, pausing every so often to annunciation more accurately. "Be honest with me now and we shall never have to speak on it again, you have my word"
