"I do" he replied to her. "Together" he nodded. He gave her hand a small squeeze, making sure to be careful with his strength, before reaching out to open the door. While Thor had a strong will of his own, it did help somewhat to have the company. Someone he could reassure. In a sense it was like reassuring himself. Seeing her doubts seemed to strengthen him somewhat, recognising something of himself in her.
Together, they walked through the door and out through the other side. One moment they were on the station, the next they were in Asgard. It felt wonderful to be home again. To feel that familiar air, smell those familiar scents. To see it with his own eyes once more, whole and flourishing. To hear the life all around him. His face lit up as he looked around. It was no illusion, no trick. It was real.
