"Five years?" He asked. He hadn't truly considered how long this detour to the future might take, if it was a detour at all. After all, he knew what happened to Kenway, Edward's fate had already come about so it meant he couldn't spend any great length of time on the station. Perhaps it was all some sort of Templar plot? Get one of the pieces of Eden and use it to remove the Assassin who had revitalized the British Brotherhood, and the man who had come after him and stole London back after the fell. Not a bad idea, though that didn't explain why his twin wasn't there with him, she could accomplish a great deal on her own, especially if she didn't have to run around behind him and fix his mistakes. But he saw no evidence to suggest this was the Templars and had made the decision to behave as if he would back to London in 1874 at any moment.
Five years felt like forever though, especially if that meant missing time with Elizabeth and their child. He didn't like the notion that he had left her alone to raise the child without even giving her the benefit of his surname. Evie would help her though, as would the other Assassins, he could take some comfort in that.
"Oh you are too kind," he gave her a smile to cover the worry that was stirring inside him. "That said, I do have a talent for bringing people together, I suspect you're right. Delightful cookies by the way." He said, taking another bite.
