Jacob hadn't missed the way she'd looked at Edward. He supposed he could understand the appeal. Pirates were supposed to be dashing and charming and all that, something he was sure Edward was and likely would be more of once he got his sea legs. Or space legs, as it were. There was a lot to adjust to and it was clear enough to him that they were both off their usual strides. She was obviously keen on the look of him, perhaps there was another way for Jacob to get a little more for free if he pushed his predecessor in her direction.
"We are particularly good at problem-solving. Though I am guessing in Kenway's case, we've only just met but he has a reputation for getting all sorts of things taken care of." He said, looking between them with brows raised before taking the water she poured for him. He wasn't going to complain, he was feeling more than a little dry after the night before in any case. Of course, he hadn't been prepared for the taste of the water when he raised the glass to his lips. It was completely different from London water, and after downing half the glass he lifted it to inspect it through the glass. It and the ice seemed as clear as the glass it was served in. It was apparent to him that the future wasn't nearly as bad as it could be.
"Though if you want him to sing a shanty in your very fine establishment I would gladly pay to see that." He teased a little.
