It was a shock to Gen as well. Usually, she was more observant but the hound gave her a feeling of security and her mind had... well, it had been elsewhere. It was a positive realization. She had not let her own paranoia swipe her day away. Whether that was a good thing or not.
"Oh, he loves bone," Gen said with a big smile. She loved talking about the hound. "He loves bone so much, he destroys it within a few minutes. His bite is very strong. I don't think that's normal for dogs. But he isn't really a dog. He destroys everything. I've got him these pig ears, I looked the other way and they were gone. And he looked at me like 'where is my treat?'. I have yet to find a good long-term snack for him."
