The hallway bunch
That was an unsettling feeling. That voice in her head. Did a demon get to the mage? Katherine did not get very far with her thoughts before her father snipped his fingers. Blank froze into place - stopped right in the middle of a roundhouse kick.
"Dad, I would take a look at his head. There is something wrong with him," Katherine said with an edge of concern.
"Of course there is. That's not how someone sane behaves," her father replied with pursed lips.
"That's not..." But before Katherine could finish her sentence, Zu interrupted them.
"Plan... we need a plan!" her cousin said. "How about we work over here and I will try to isolate demons for you, then you can take over their mind?" The young woman looked back at the mage on the other side of the corridor. "Afterwards we can help Blank."
Katherine nodded. "Okay, let's try that." The god gave a nod and snapped his fingers. Time started to speed up again.
"Blank, are you okay alone over there? I'll be helping Kat for a bit." With that the two women got to work.
