The hallway bunch
Katherine nodded at Blank's words before her attention returned to her father. Loki was observing the group in front of him. "I cannot say I understand you. You've barely met the other man and here you are ready to throw your son's future away from him." The god gave a dismissive wave. The topic was done for him and he moved on. It was clear that the god would make vastly different decisions. "They will be fine but you still have to hold out for a little while."
"You two, I want you to learn," he turned his head towards the two girls. His tone and posture meant business. His arms were folded behind his back and he took on the mantel of a mentor. As much as he jested and joked, he left all of it behind when he taught any of the kids. "I will not always be standing behind you. Come up with a strategy that is a little less suicidal. You have a minute."
"Okay, soooo..." Katherine was the first one to speak. "I could get some of the demons on our side but I haven't really found an opportunity." Loki had observed about a dozen but his young daughter was still too inexperienced to spot them. He hoped that would change soon.
