Shannon gently squeezed Loki's thigh again. He was no ordinary Frost Giant. He hadn't started out as one, and he was about as far as from what she'd read about them now, that it was hard to believe that he was the part of that heartless breed. He was one of a kind. And she wouldn't trade him for anyone, or anything, else in all the universes combined.
She chuckled lightly at Blank's attempt to change the subject. "They're better warmed," without really taking her hand off of Loki's leg she leaned forward with her free hand and coaxed a little heat from her fingertips, warming the plate and the hors d'oeuvres. "Try it again, but be careful, the plate will be hot."
