The god had yet to relax but Shannon's presence and her support certainly helped. This was still a situation he was not comfortable with. It was too real. He loved to entertain people - he had always done so. But it had always been about nothing. Shannon was not nothing. Conversations had always been about making allies, never about making friends. He had written that off since his childhood when Thor had been the popular one and Loki had been the weird child who had always been one step behind his brother. His family and the throne had been the only thing that mattered back then.
"It has not." The coldness was gone from his voice but a defensiveness was still left. The truth was nothing he was used to talk about. It was a truth that carried pain with it. "Frost giants are not known for their loving hearts." He withdrew into that notion of being a monster. Sometimes he considered it to be true. That it made him act differently. That this was why he had always been disliked. That his heritage came poking through and rendered him unlovable.
