Spectator benches - Blank & Loki
He switched now. He took on the place where his illusion was seated and the figure in front of them vanished. There was a lot in what Blank had said that he felt warranted a response. He did not start with the question. He was not sure whether it was an exertion - if he agreed, they would name their son after him. If he addressed this, the important part would be forgotten.
"You are not unwise to think about what happens to your son when you are gone. I am not unwise to take it seriously. I have been bound to this community for seven years now, only a fraction of the people who were around when I arrived are still here." He did not say that most took their children with them when they left. It was an unbearable thought for him. He had no doubt it would be for Blank as well. "I am not opposed to taken on the responsibility but I cannot do alongside Brynhild. I have a woman I raise children with. Her thoughts of your vampire have decreased considerably. You make up your mind who you want that child to live with and we can have another talk."
He paused shortly, his whole mannerism showing that he was not quite finished. "As for your other request, why are you the one asking?" he said. Loki had wondered what that said about the couple. Were they the traditional Midgardian type where they woman had to speak through the man?
