"No, actually. You coming along didn't, because while I was attracted, I was distracted, the moment he pulled my bracelet off, the spell was broken. You coming along kept me from hurting him more, than I did already. I had no real urge to sink my fangs into him, for that I'd have to be hungry, and he'd have to be cleaner." Bryn took a deep breath, obvious with what she was doing then, because she allowed her lashes to flutter. She didn't know why, but the urge to get closer struck her. Again she edged into his personal space, this time pressing herself against him. Chest to chest. Would he step back?
"Seedy clubs aren't sex clubs, and I haven't found one that hadn't thought Fifty Shades of Grey was cutting edge." She rolled her eyes dramatically. "But if you have any suggestions I'm all ears. And rather eager." She did promise not to lie to him. It was rather freeing that she didn't have to try to. But the cut was she didn't know if he believed she wasn't lying to him. Without the oath, he'd never really know for sure.
She met his eyes again. They were so wonderfully dark. And that was all she needed to cast her spell on anyone outside the alley. "They won't be able to see us." Just that simple and the glamour was up.
