Bryn couldn't resist the hiss as the asshole left. He didn't know how much he owed John. She would have at least bit him and made it hurt, if the mage had not come along. But that was John, saving people was his thing, even if it had been unintentional. And John didn't know just how much damage he would have done taking that bracelet. It was what allowed her to be out in the sun, without death, and made a great many human things possible for her to enjoy.
She took the bracelet first, as it was offered. "Thank you." She muttered as she wrapped it around her wrist, the little nanobots that made it up catching the latch before she had to twitch a finger. She took the necklace first, The Norse pendant tucking into the hollow of her throat as she latched it in place. All before she answered him. It was just like that and she felt whole again. With a blink her eyes were back to normal. Fangs clicked back into their home. "Believe it or not I was mostly attracted to 'blokes that big' before you came along. He..." She dropped her gaze to the tassels that were the skirt of her dress, "distracted me." Her fingers drew across a few of the tendrils at her hip. "It was stupid."
