John had spent quite a bit of time through the door since it had opened. Not just because it allowed him to get away from the station, allowing him to avoid people, but because London was familiar. London had been his home for a portion of his life. He knew the way the city breathed, the way it worked. It was familiar territory, a place he could thrive, a place where he could hide.
John had just left one of the pubs. He had a few drinks, chatted to a friendly couple who he had left his bar tab with, and off he went, looking for the next place to visit. He had thought about looking around to see what was active in that version of London, but that had the potential to draw attention towards him and he didn't want that. Still, the temptation had been there. He had snooped around, putting his ear to the ground and looking in places he shouldn't have already.
Walking past one of the alley ways, he stopped. Something felt a bit off. He thought he could sense something but he wasn't sure what it was. Reaching down, he picked up a stone from the ground. He held his hands out and rolling his eyes back, muttered, "Five elements of the earth, I respect and invoke thee. From the six directions, converge here. Lift all concealments. Reveal thy truth", and with that he threw the stone, perception shifting almost instantly. The truth was revealed, the illusion falling apart, to reveal... Bryn?
"You all right there, luv? I didn't think he'd be your type. Maybe lunch" John smirked, walking towards them.
