Reception - John and Sarah
Sarah squeed just a little. Her tongue stuck between her teeth to keep it from being too loud of a noise. "I'm so glad. Now, the coat... I went through all of Harry's notes, and I duplicated it to the T, with an exception for the color. I wanted to try to have a simple coat that was closer to the one you always wear, so you'd be more likely to use it, but in reading his notes the mantle is a little important, so I didn't compromise there. But, I don't know if you found this out while fighting Pennywise or not, but there are very few things in existence that can cut through the fabric. And the likelihood of any of that stuff being in this universe is very low. Rhysand is the only 'maybe', because he is fae and might have a sword or a dagger that wont be stopped by the spells. And you can basically pull the mantle over your head and block a lot of spells. I tested it to make sure that they all worked in this universe, and might have ruined a few good kitchen knives." It was hard for her not to talk as fast as she could. She was that glad that he liked it.
"Now, the staff isn't entirely finished. But I couldn't finish it. You'll have to cast a spell that you use often, then slice your palm and then hold it at the top and let the blood run down. This will bond the staff to you, and you alone. And that spell that you used on it will no longer drain you. You can still use it as a focus point for other spells, but those will draw from whatever they usually draw from, just a little bet less." Not that she stopped smiling but she couldn't help but give him a dazzling one just then.
