Eddie bit his lip and stared at the man. He didn't seem like Pennywise or any other form the clown had taken. He looked like he was working. Did kidnappers have real jobs? Did they sing to lure kids in? All of the warnings his mother had given him about stranger danger ran through his mind and he debated them against all of the warnings she'd given him about the risks of being alone. He couldn't figure out if he should walk away or ask for help. He practically made long lists in his mind, weighing pros and cons, one side against the other, and decided to at least try. He had to get home.
"I'm lost." Eddie admitted. "I don't know how I got here and I wanna go home." Back to his mother and her crazy over protectiveness that would at least let him feel safe, until he was with his friends who actually did keep each other safe.
