Kytana waited around the spire for everyone to return, for the people who had said they wanted to help, and anyone else willing to join their expedition to rescue, she was sure, the people that had gone missing. She had started the seance, as many called it, prepared. Enough Kolto to heal wounds if any should be sustained on their trip.
They had a heading. It was just a matter of finding the end of the strings. It had been obscured, but there was no hiding the direction they were all leading to. She'd been afraid that might have been the conclusion, but at least they had a direction, even if they did not have a destination.
Kytana had one saber out, ignited raising one stone at a time, using the force to urge it to dodge and slip out of the way as she parried, thrust and swiped at it. She was not to far focused on her practice that she did not feel the lone man approach. She let the rock fall, and depowered her saber before she turned to face him.
