So far it looked like both of their protections and wards were holding up but that didn't get rid of the feeling of being watched. Like something was following them. John wanted to know or what it was. And if he was going to find out he had to do something about it. Something to draw them out and if there was nothing there, they could easily carry on.
"All right, luv. Do us a favour and cover your eyes. This is about get very bright" he explained. John rolled his shoulders and prepared himself. His eyes rolled into the back of his head, eyelids fluttering as he said the words, "De Cruinne-ce agus Akasha seall me do solas." As he did the last part, he brought his fingers up to tap his eyelid, his eyes settling back to normal, and as he did, the area grew even brighter, as did his eyes which lit up bright orange. And with that, the bright light slowly faded, shadows appeared in the nearby trees, and as they stepped out and the light faded, their forms could be seen.
There were a few figures. One was a woman in a nuns outfit, the other was a man with thick glasses and shaggy hair, the third was a small girl with dark skin. The fourth was a very ill looking, skinny man, and lastly, there stood a version of himself. All of them were covered in blood, wounded and possibly near death if not dead. The little girl stood there with only one arm. They all stared blankly at both Bryn and John.
