"I would" he replied, turning his head to look up at her. Strangely enough, he was being sincere. And there was that worry in his eyes. That was a hard thing for him to admit. He was selfish at his core and he tended to look out for himself and that was it. But it was hard not to become fond of some of the people on the station. He had become accustomed to being there. Accustomed to answering their posts and interacting with them on some level. John may have spent most of his time alone but it was because he felt he had to. Because he was growing fond of them and wanted to keep them safe from him.
He took a longer drag from the cigarette. "Yeah... Suppose I should get started on a couple of basic invocations. See if they work here. And if they don't, I'll have to use other sources" he explained.
