Tony lay slumped up against a wall. He did not look well in the slightest. Even with his paler skin and thinner physique, there was still a glimmer of determination in his eyes. A steely resolve that had been tempered by experience. All of his anger, all he had lost, all he wanted to make up for. There wasn't much space for hiding those things while he was so vulnerable and that was a position Tony did not enjoy being in.
Maybe it was the shock of suddenly appearing on the station that had managed to keep him going too. Knowing Nebula was out there somewhere, alone. Was that his fault too?
He looked up when he heard the voice. He didn't recognise her but she knew him and he didn't like that. How much did she know about him? "Thanks" he said, forcing a smirk. "I've felt better" he added, raising his eyebrows. "So now what?" he asked. He just hoped he could trust this strange woman. That she hadn't come to hurt him.
