John waited for her to come back, figuring she might be taking him up on his offer. The sound of her shifting back seemed to confirm that. And in that moment he thought about when he was in the Lupines body and how it had felt to shift. Subconsciously, he rolled his head from side to side.
When she spoke John rolled his eyes a little. "Don't you bloody start an all" he muttered. "I just..." he paused and looked at the memorial. "People don't tend to come to these places to be happy. They tend to come here to mourn. So I figured the least I could do was offer you a drink" he added, taking a drag of his cigarette. He reached into the inside of his coat and pulled out a silver looking flask. "It's got Gin in it and if you prefer something else, I'm sure we can get that" he added. John didn't tend to offer people a drink from his flask. It was his. But this one was a safer one. This one wasn't inscribed with wards and the spells. It was just a normal flask.
