Sarah didn't understand it. She didn't know why her brain was betraying her now. Usually the answers were right at her fingertips. They just came to her. As if she plucked them right out of the sky, like a ripe piece of fruit. But the sneaky thought of her plans not being good enough crept in there. Something felt like it was missing. She didn't feel as secure with her plans as she normally did. She wasn't normally insecure. Right now she felt the yawning pit of "not knowing" in her stomach. She had intended to go to the lab to run some scenarios, but she hadn't made it that far. She lay on the floor of one of the observation decks. Blonde curls spread out on the floor around her head, her feet propped up on the bench seat. Pale pink silk sleep pants bathed her legs in heaven. While a borrowed t shirt kept her upper half warm. Along with the fuzzy unicorn slippers that covered her feet. Her fingers drew pictures of light into the empty space above her. It wasn't something she did often, she didn't spend her energy like this, but her emotions were spiking all over the place, and she hadn't been all that responsible when she had left the apartment, to keep from waking the rest of the house up, she hadn't grabbed one of her many self containing crystals. |
