"It's a clear route, I should be good," he said, his grin turning cheeky at the last moment, and he winked at her. Then he went to make coffee and tea.
"So what have you been doing since I was last here?" he asked over his shoulder as he took in all kinds of weird coffee machine things. He'd found the mugs easy enough, but that was all that was easy. There were little cartridges of stuff, and a machine that looked like it should be in an actual coffee shop. And another machine with no buttons. He stared at them in no little confusion, because coffee-making sure did get complicated in the last 20 years or so. Then he spotted things he was way more familiar with. A french press and a few bags of ground coffee. And the coffee machine had a button for hot water. There were teabags as well, all different sorts (fruit things, green tea, normal tea, whatever), and little packets of sugar. He could do this!
He quickly sorted out the french press for himself, and then turned back to look at Brenna. "Which tea do you want? There's a lot."
