Abra knew Dan was back to being an adult. She could feel his confusion, his realization he'd been a kid and his next wondering as if he were screaming at her. She stayed in her room, considering how he might react to seeing her all grown up. There were letter-magnets on the fridge, ones she had found to display young Dan's artwork. She reached out with her mind, slowly arranging the magnets to spell out 'a week' and underneath that 'abra' so he knew who the message had been sent by.
