He smiled as she laughed, and listened as she explained how she'd talked to him in various ways. The Hello-happy face in his head made him sit up a bit straighter, and then she mentioned Tony and his stomach felt like he'd just gone over the top of a very high, very fast rollercoaster, like the ones at Six Flags. He exhaled, blowing the smoke away from her as he did so, and sat forward again. He let his elbows rest on the table between them, mainly so that there was something solid there to stop that horrible sliding sensation.
"I, uh, I know what e-mail is, yeah. The nurses use it at work, but I don't have one. You... you know Tony?" he stammered out, and absently started rubbing at his lips again. Stupid question, she obviously knew Tony or she wouldn't have known to mention him. He hadn't seen or heard from Tony in years now. "Tony's... he's me. Sort of. He used to tell me the future when I was a little kid."
