Loki had gained the information he had wanted to gain from the control room. Someone had painted symbols close to his own apartment. While he did not live there any longer, it was still his sanctuary which also harboured his library. He had wanted to know what had happened and who had done it. There was an easy way to find out. Weeks and months of experience with the operation system of the main control room made it an easy task. The security footage held all the energy.
The man in the trench coat was easy to identify. At first, the god was worried that the self-proclaimed Master of the Dark Arts tried to gain access into his library. But a look at more footage quickly revealed that this was not the only place which had been altered. What was the man doing?
The god was almost ready to leave when one of the many warnings popped up. The shields lacked energy. This space ship was full of warnings. Mostly the computer seemed to handle any trouble it faced. It redirected energy from one area to another to make up for the failures in the system. While no one had taken control of the main computer, it did so automatically. This time, however, someone was around.
Now, shields were important. Surely, everyone would agree. An attack might be imminent.None of the scanners revealed hostile object or any flying objects for that matter. But how could anyone really say? Quickly, he navigated through the menu to check his options for extra energy. Light. A good option. Wheel One. No. Two. No. Three. Ahhh, now there was an opportunity. It had the most energy consumption. Surely, everyone would agree that it was the logical choice. He pressed the button to confirm the action.
Lovely. He had saved the station from a very unlikely attack. Then there was this tiny extra of leaving most inhabitants without light. It was the icing on the cake.
In a good mood, Loki slipped out of the room and covered it once again with an illusion.
