Bill had found what he considered to be the best seat in the food court, not long after he'd arrived on the station. All the chairs were comfortable, so it wasn't anything to do with that, and the fact that it had a pretty decent view out of the big window was pretty low on Bill's list of cool things about the seat, actually. Sure, it was good to stare out at when he was busy thinking up dialog or blocking out a scene, but that was about it, really. The main things on Bill's list were pretty simple, really. It was close enough to Lacey's diner and Bucky's new place that he didn't have to go too far to get anything to eat or drink when he wanted it. This fact also meant that he could people-watch as well, which was great for when he was drawing. Thirdly, it was just out of the way enough that he could work mostly uninterrupted.
He did plenty of writing there, filling up page after page in his notebooks after classes with Mr Torrance, which all got typed up later when he got back home. Sometimes, though, he wasn't in the mood to write so he sat and drew. Sketches of the people eating in the food court, sketches of his friends from home (of Bev especially), and sketches of Kat's animals. Today was a drawing day, but instead of sketching Dan chatting with one of the Jakes while they drank coffee, he was drawing things from the story he'd put up on the network the other day. The main drawing was of the girl and her boyfriend, with a shadowy presence behind them. There were other details as well, things like the cursed amulet the girl had worn which had started the whole story off, and a weird attempt to show how the girl's face had changed when she was possessed. He didn't like that one very much, so he took his eraser to it and set about getting rid of it.
